This free overnight road stop camping area at Campbell Town in Central Tasmania is a friendly attractive location next to the Elizabeth River and offers ample room for fully self-contained RVs. There are no facilities at the Campbell Town Caravan overnight free stop. However, it is only a very short walk to all services including toilets, an IGA supermarket, cafes, a newsagent, a Banjos Bakery, and a local hotel serving counter meals. This is a large grassed area that is capable of accommodating many caravans, campervans, motorhomes, and big rigs. Please note tent based camping is strictly prohibited; the area is monitored by the local council. All vehicles staying overnight at Campbell Town must be fully self-contained. There is a playground for the kids, a shelter, and a barbecue.
