RV Friendly town Franklin Tasmania, South of Hobart. Stay at the Franklin RV Friendly campground for up to 4-nights at a cost of $15 per van per night. There is a dump point Franklin and potable water. The RV Friendly stop Franklin is located on the Foreshore Reserve and offers visitors access to short (day use) and long-term parking (up to 4 nights). This is an attractive location, and ideal to explore the small town of Franklin that features great cafes, and historic theatre and eateries plus specialty stores. This stop is pet-friendly, there are great areas for walking your dog on a lead. Please note the RV Friendly stop at Franklin is unavailable for the weekend of the November Festival Franklin. Franklin is a great little town to visit, with the town hosting regular events including the Focus on Franklin Festival, the Franklin Flower Show, the Huon Agricultural Show and annual school rowing events on the Huon River. To say at the Franklin RV Friendly campground you must be fully self-contained in a van that has shower facilities, water, a toilet and cooking facilities – NO camping in tents, cars, campervans, camper-trailers, rooftop tents or other vehicles that aren’t self contained. The RV Friendly stop at Franklin has no facilities but there are nearby public picnic tables, toilets, barbecues and a dump point. Water is available to fill tanks.
