The parking area is at Kambalda West, behind the Recreation Centre off Barnes Drive and is designed for fully self-contained RVs. Kambalda offers free parking for up to 48 hours – a dump point, potable water and bins are provided, and pets on a lead are permitted if kept under control at all times. Camping in tents is not permitted. Kambalda is split into 2 townsites some 4 kilometres apart and known as Kambalda East and Kambalda West.
