RV Friendly Parking Yandanooka Town Hall Western Australia. Yandanooka is a small town in the mid-west of Western Australia, and located app. 20 kilometres South of Mingenew. The town’s name is aboriginal in origin and is thought to mean “plenty of hilly country insight”. Overnight RV parking is available at the Yandanooka Hall, being a very good and popular destination for telescope users viewing the night sky with no noise pollution. The Yandanooka Hall is RV friendly for self-contained vehicles only (No camping in tents or other vehicles). Self contained visitors in RVs can stay for up to 3-nights at no cost. If you are into star gazing, you can take advantage of the stargazing pad and giant planisphere at night and explore the region during the day. The gravel area at Yandanooka Hall is expansive – there is plenty of room to set up caravans and telescopic equipment. To access, travel along Midlands Road before turning into Yandanooka North East Road. Follow this road for approximately 400 metres, where you will find the RV parking area Yandanooka on the first bend. Please note there are no facilities at this location. Pets OK, but but be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
