York is the oldest inland town in Western Australia, located on the Avon River, 100 kilometres east of Perth in the Wheatbelt, and in the seat of the Shire of York. A 1 night only rest area is located at Janet Millett Lane which is close to Avon Terrace. The Janet Millett Lane RV site is located on the opposite side of the Avon River from the town centre. There is room for a small number of self-contained RV’s to park at Janet Millett Lane, and which are free of cost for a 24 hour period. A dump point is available at this site, for scheme water we recommend to visit Avon Park. This area is close to shopping amenities and the famous York Swinging Bridge.
